Siberian Larch is a naturally durable wood that can be used externally for decking deck board, deck planks cladding, fencing applications without the need to apply any preservative treatments. It is one of the world?s most popular natural durable softwoods and has an aesthetically pleasing golden brown colour. Siberian Larch can be stained or oiled. It is also one of the densest commercial softwoods for use on both private and commercial projects. SertiWOOD Range supplies a unique Siberian Larch sourced from the slow growing cold regions of Siberia and selected for the durable heartwood part of the tree. It performs almost as well as well as species like European Oak. It is a dense and resinous and hardwearing wood. The SertiWOOD Range is supplied from sustainable sources and is FSC Certified. Siberian Larch also known as Russian Larch or Larix Sibirica. Timber quality: A/B Grade. Stainless Steel Decking Screws are recommended minimum size is 5mm x 60mm long and predrilling with 2 face fixings.

Siberian Larch weathers to a silvery grey colour if not stained, painted or treated, it has a tendency to exude resin and have surface checking and splitting especially in the hot summer months.

Siberian Larch will weather to a silvery grey colour if uncoated depending on exposure. Larch tends to have or develop splits or checks which tend not to affect the structural performance of the decking. If resin is present clean off with solvent. Always allow minimum 10% for trim or crosscutting waste. Predrilling recommended

It is important to seal the ends of trimmed boards before laying in order to protect fully Made with slow grown wood for stability and precision finished These boards are reversible giving you a choice of profiles Install with screws minimum 4.5mm x 60mm long Stainless-Steel Decking Screws 2 screws per joist centre, predrilling recommended Lay wooden joist supports

Ground Preparation

We recommend you level the ground where you're planning to construct your decking, making sure you compact soil & apply a ground sheet to prevent weeds penetrating
