ProWarm BACKER-PRO insulation boards are the ultimate solution for superior waterproofing and heat insulation in underfloor heating and under tile applications. These high-quality extruded polystyrene panels, reinforced with fibreglass mesh on both sides, are specifically designed to complement our under tile heating cables and mats (not suitable for underwood systems).
The BACKER-PRO boards provide a durable and waterproof foundation for securely fixing wall or floor tiles, ensuring long-lasting performance and protection against moisture.
With their excellent thermal conductivity value of 0.033 W/mK, these insulation boards significantly enhance the efficiency of underfloor heating systems. They reduce heat-up time and minimise running costs, delivering optimal comfort and energy savings.
The boards effectively reduce impact sound, creating a quieter and more comfortable environment. Easily installed, the BACKER-PRO boards can be easily cut with a knife, eliminating the need for complex tools such as a jigsaw. They can also be installed on both floors and walls, following the correct installation method.
