Step 3 - Positioning
If you’re mounting your cabinet over a sink, you’ll want it to be centred over the basin.
Measure and mark the centre of the basin and extend the line upwards using the spirit level.
Measure and mark the middle of the cabinet on its base and on the top.
Centre it on the line on the wall at the height you want - check it’s level, then draw along the top edge on the wall and mark the centre point.
If you like, you can take the cabinet doors off to make it easier to hold against the wall.
If it’s going somewhere else in the room, hold the cabinet in the desired position and mark the top edge and centre on the wall in the same way.
Now you have the position of the cabinet you can move onto measuring and marking the positions for the wall brackets.
