How we get involved

We are proud to work with charities and community groups across the United Kingdom and Ireland. We’ve taken part in some fantastic campaigns and activities, both big and small. Our most recent fundraising efforts include:

Supporting Prostate Cancer UK with Father’s Day activities across our store network (UK only). Our fundraising takes place during June 2017 and all funds raised will help Prostate Cancer UK* provide better diagnosis, treatment and support for men everywhere.

*Prostate Cancer UK is a registered charity in England and Wales (1005541) and in Scotland (SC039332). Registered company 02653887.

We have worked with Macmillan Cancer Support since 2015 and in the last two years raised a total of £1,032,616, which equates to 36,879 nursing hours. Macmillan nurses help people living with cancer, and their families receive essential medical, practical and emotional support – so they don’t have to face cancer alone.

All funds raised through the sale of single use carrier bags go to Greenfingers, and from March 2016 to March 2017 we raised £465,180.

Greenfingers is dedicated to supporting children who use hospices around the UK, along with their families, by creating magical gardens for children in hospices to enjoy. We are currently working in partnership to transform a garden at Keech Hospice, Luton.
