This evergreen plant offers year-round interest, displaying purple foliage and vibrant red bracts during certain seasons. As a bromeliad, it naturally purifies the air, helping to eliminate harmful toxins from your home. And of course, it produces an exotic pineapple.
Pineapple plants thrive in warm, sunny locations, shielded from cold draughts, with a minimum temperature of 15°C (59°F). A bright windowsill, conservatory, or heated greenhouse provides an ideal environment. Should repotting become necessary, use a well-drained, neutral or slightly acidic compost.
