Thompson and Morgan Cordyline Australis Potted Plant 24cm

The Cordyline australis, a palm-like shrub, brings a touch of the tropics to your garden. Suited to milder UK climates, this resilient Cabbage Palm thrives in coastal gardens, tolerating sea air, drier soils and exposed locations. Its evergreen foliage offers year-round exotic appeal, showcasing long, sword-shaped leaves that form tufts atop woody stems.
These architectural plants are easy to grow and require little maintenance, providing interest throughout the year with very little fuss. Cordyline australis' relatively narrow form makes it ideal for front gardens, courtyards, and mixed borders, where it complements underplantings beautifully.
For optimal growth, plant Cordylines in fertile, well-drained soil in a sheltered, sunny or semi-shaded location. While they flourish in mild coastal areas, enriching the soil with well-rotted manure at planting is highly beneficial.
Supplied as 1 x Cordyline australis in a 24cm pot. Mature plants can reach up to 6m in height and 4m in spread. Flowering occurs between June and August.
