Product Description

Cowboy Cactus with great branches for excellent Cactus performance. Also known as the African Milk Tree, this houseplant comes in varieties of green and red. Giftbag included for easy take away, and also making this plant an ideal gift.

  • Water African milk tree thoroughly when the soil surface feels dry to the touch throughout growing season. Evenly moisten the surface of the soil, but don 't water so it 's soggy.
  • Allow to dry out completely between waterings. Water the plant during winter dormancy only when the top 1in of soil is completely dry. If in doubt, err on the side of caution and don 't water this drought-tolerant succulent.
  • Feed 2-3 times a month throughout the growing season, between Apr to Oct. Use an all-purpose 20-20-20 fertilizer or a cactus and succulent preparation. Follow the packaging instructions. Don 't fertilize this plant when it 's not actively growing.
  • Repot your African milk tree once each summer between June and July, when it 's growing most actively. Plants use up the nutrients in the small soil volumes in pots quickly.
  • Grow indoors, keep near sunny window well ventilated room.
