Mira Shower Heads & Hoses

Homebase is the perfect place to discover an excellent range of shower heads and hoses to complete your shower and complement your bathrooms style. Our shower heads are big and either square or round shaped, with colours in mainly black, white and chrome.

If you’re feeling luxurious opt for a rainfall shower head. It provides a soothing and immersive experience. Rainfall shower heads are fixed to the ceiling and typically feature a larger surface area and a unique design that allows water to flow wide. Once you have made your purchase, visit our blog to learn how to install a rainfall shower.

Alternatively, you can choose a high-pressure shower head designed to be powerful and optimise water flow. High pressure shower heads feature specialised designs, such as smaller nozzles and adjustable settings. These are best used to either concentrate the water spray or lower the pressure. Upgrading to either a rainfall or high-pressure shower head can improve your overall shower experience and turn your bathroom into a spa.

Increase the versatility of you shower. Shop our shower heads with hoses, which allow flexibility. Shower hoses are useful for handheld shower heads. Whether you need an extra-long hose for added reach or a short one for a more compact set up, Homebase has options to suit your requirements.

How do you change a shower hose?

"Replacing your shower hose is something that will probably need to be done at least once during your shower’s lifetime, and it’s a simple task that you can carry out yourself.

    1. To disconnect the old hose from the shower unit, you simply need to unscrew it in a anti-clockwise direction. You can do this by hand, but if it’s screwed in tight, then use a pair of pliers.

    2. Remove the washer from the end of the hose, and unscrew the old hose from the shower head and remove the washer.

    3. Place a new washer into the end of your new hose and screw it back onto the shower unit, making sure its not too tight or it will cause damage.

    4. Next, place another new washer into the other end of the hose and screw it onto the shower head. If your old washers are ok to use, then you can reuse them."
