Jasmine polyanthum are a very vigorous, tender evergreen twining climber that can grow up to 7.5m tall. Jasmine boast dark green leaves that are composed of up to 7 lance-shaped leaflets, and bear masses of very fragrant, long-tubed white flowers 2cm across, opening from pink buds, in panicle-like clusters to 10cm long. Usually they bloom from late spring when planted outdoors in frost-free climates, or earlier in the year if grown in a warm greenhouse or conservatory.
Try planting near a path for maximum impact. Great for trellises, walls and fences, they are easy to grow but must be protected from frost. This Jasmine polyanthum is grown on a tripod.
