Home delivery information
Homebase offer the following delivery services. Availability of the services will be shown on the product page and confirmed during the checkout process. Options offered may vary in the checkout for orders containing multiple products.
If your item is small enough for one delivery person to carry it, we'll usually get it to you within three days. You can get next-day and Saturday delivery options on selected products. We'll let you know if these services are available during the checkout process.
Delivery times are usually Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) 7am-8pm. You may also get a choice of times - for example: AM (7am-1pm) or PM (12pm-8pm). Saturday deliveries are usually made between 7am and 6pm. The charge for delivery of small items on a Saturday is £6.95.
You don't have to sign for these items. You can give us special delivery requirements during the checkout process and we'll do our best to meet them.

If we have all your items in stock, you may be shown a list of delivery dates to choose from during the checkout process, after you've entered your delivery address.
If some items have to be ordered in for you or are delivered by a third party, a customer service advisor will contact you to arrange delivery as soon as the goods are ready to go out.
Most deliveries are made in the morning (7am-12pm), afternoon (12pm-6pm), or 'midday' slot - 10am-2pm. But availability of delivery time slots may vary depending on the items ordered. As soon as your items are ready for despatch, we'll contact you to sort out a date you're happy with. If your order is made up of different products or delivery services, you might get the deliveries separately. Bear in mind that someone will need to sign for large items when they're delivered.For orders of bathrooms, kitchens and fitted bedrooms, you will receive a 4 hour confirmation delivery timeslot the day before the agreed delivery date. Orders for furniture will receive a 2 hour confirmation delivery timeslot via SMS the day before delivery and a call from the delivery driver on the day of delivery.
We'll carry most large items through to the room you want†. See 'Additional information' below for details. Before we come, don't forget to measure your doorways, hall and stairs to check your items will fit!
If you've ordered several big items they may have different lead times for delivery. If possible we'll deliver all your items together within the longest lead time shown.

Available on selected items, order by 2pm for next / named day delivery into store including Saturday. This service is free to use. Collection is available after 12pm from store (collection from selected stores will not be available until after 5pm). The store will contact you to confirm when your order is ready for collection.
We offer an express delivery service on selected products, including some large kitchen appliances. They're easy to spot as they have 'express' in the product name. We'll usually get these items to you within two working days (excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays) subject to stock availability.
All deliveries to Northern Ireland take an additional day. Sorry, but we can't offer this service to remote areas of the UK (Scottish Highlands and Islands). Place express orders before 6pm to guarantee express delivery within the following two days.
Standard or next-day delivery from only £3.95!
No matter how many items you want, you only pay a single delivery charge per order. So even if you order lots of small items, you still only pay £3.95 (£6.95 for Saturday) to have them all delivered.
If you have large items in your order the charge is £8.95. But you can order as many items as you like, large or small, and you'll get them all delivered for only £8.95.
For items with 'express' in the product name we've included the £19.99 delivery cost in the product price on the website.
It's absolutely simple. Pop what you want into your online trolley, select home delivery and go through the checkout process. All we need from you is a delivery address, a postcode and your payment details.

You'll see an estimated delivery lead time next to each product on this website. We update this daily to reflect the latest stock situation. Please check individual product information pages for detailed delivery lead times on specific items. Delivery lead times are confirmed once you've added the items to your trolley and entered your delivery postcode. Delivery times quoted above can vary depending on stock availability and where items are being delivered.
Most items come directly from us, but some larger products are delivered straight to you from our suppliers. This will also affect delivery times and conditions.
In most cases we'll get in touch with you to sort out a delivery date as soon as your items are ready, unless a delivery date can be selected at the time of order. For items with a lead time between 3 and 5 days that will be delivered to home, you will receive an SMS the day before delivery and be notified of an AM or PM delivery slot on the day of delivery. If the order is to be delivered to store then the store will contact you to confirm when ready for collection.
If no one is at a property when we deliver, we'll try to leave the parcel with a neighbour or in a safe place. If this isn't possible, a calling card with the carrier's contact details will be left so we can arrange another delivery date. However, another delivery will be attempted the next day if the customer doesn't make contact beforehand. The parcel will be held at the depot for five days. If you don't get in contact to arrange another delivery time, the item will be returned to us for a refund.
Most orders placed on this website can only be delivered to mainland UK and Northern Ireland addresses. Please note that delivery of certain items to Northern Ireland will be subject to increased lead times from those shown. Sorry, but we can't deliver to the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Orkney, Shetland and Scottish Islands, BFPO addresses or the Republic of Ireland. We know that unexpected things happen and there might be an instance when you can't be at home for your delivery. If so, don't worry. Just call us at least three days before the agreed delivery date and we'll reschedule delivery with you.
We reserve the right to restrict these services at any time. We also reserve the right to alter or amend delivery times in exceptional circumstances. All delivery times quoted are subject to stock availability and delivery location.
Please be aware that courier delivery costs charged by stores to deliver your item may vary depending on location and the goods you have purchased. Please ask in store for details.
How's this for convenience? Order a kitchen appliance and we'll connect it all up for you when we deliver. And we'll take your old appliance away if you want. This Connect and Collect service is available on selected kitchen appliances (these have 'inc Conn/Coll' in the product name). It's also subject to stock availability and delivery location.
With Connect and Collect, we'll connect your new appliance to suitable existing services as long as they are one metre or less from where the appliance is going (this won't include remedial plumbing or electrical work). All we ask is that you disconnect your old item.
We'll even take away all packaging if you ask us when we're at your home. You can also arrange for collection of your old appliance so we can dispose of it safely (see Take Back service below for details). Bear in mind that you need to purchase Take Back when you place your order. And we'll only take your old appliance if it's been disconnected. If you're buying a Hotpoint Connect and Collect appliance, Take Back is already included in the price. Standard delivery for Hotpoint products doesn't include Take Back. But it can be purchased separately.
Installation of cookers is on a like-for-like basis - i.e. electric for electric, gas for gas:
For electric cookers
We can only install if your old appliance has already been disconnected. Our qualified delivery staff will install your new cooker to a suitable existing connection point within one metre of where the cooker is going.
For gas and dual fuel cookers
First a qualified gas engineer will disconnect your old appliance. Then we'll deliver your new appliance. Next, a gas engineer will connect the cooker to suitable existing connection points. Delivery and connection costs are included in the price for delivery and connection products shown on the website (these have 'inc Conn/Coll' in the product name):
- Washing machines, washer dryers and dishwashers: £37
- Fridges, freezers, tumble dryers and condenser dryers: £37
- Cookers: £85 gas and dual fuel, £80 electric
If your order is a mix of delivery and connection items and standard items, deliveries will be made separately. There's a delivery charge on the standard items.
* 48-hour, next-day and Saturday delivery services are not available on large and bulky items, large-screen TVs, adults' bikes and large kitchen appliances.
† We'll deliver most big and bulky items to any room, as long as drivers are happy that there are no health and safety issues (such as a staircase that's too narrow) and that your property won't be damaged.
