When will my order be delivered?

You'll see the estimated delivery lead time next to each product on the website. We update this daily to let you know the latest stock situation. For items usually delivered within 48 hours, we'll offer you a list of delivery dates to choose from. For larger items, we can't book a specific delivery date at the time of order. But we'll contact you to arrange a delivery date as soon as your items are ready to send out.

Can I specify a delivery date when I order?

Yes, for most items you can choose a preferred delivery date when you order.


How do I know if my order has been received?

When we get your online order, an Order Acknowledgement screen will appear. This has an order reference number. It's a good idea to print out the page so you can refer back to it. But we'll also email you to confirm we have your order.


Can I add to an existing order?

You can add items to your order until you confirm your payment details and complete the order. Once the order is confirmed, you can't add items to the same order. If you want to buy more items, please place a new order.


Do I need to sign for delivery?

For most items someone needs to be around to accept them and sign for the delivery. This is because we want to make sure your goods were delivered and received correctly. If you won't be around to sign for delivery and your order qualifies, you can give special instructions during the checkout process for our drivers to leave items with a neighbour or in some other safe place. But you can of course specify a different delivery address when you order so your items go to your work, a neighbour, or another place where you can collect them. Can I return a product, exchange it or get a refund?

Yes, of course! We want you to be totally happy with every purchase you make with Homebase. So if you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, please see our Returns and refunds page.


Do I get a receipt with my delivery?

Your receipt is the address label on the parcel. Keep the receipt as you'll need it if you want to return items.


How can I get a VAT receipt?

We can only send you a VAT receipt once the 30-day money back guarantee for items you've bought has expired. To get a VAT receipt, please email us at order.enquiries@homebase.co.uk at least 30 days after receiving your items. Remember to include your order number. Then we'll be more than happy to deal with your request.


Can I place an order from abroad?

Yes, as long as delivery is in the UK and Northern Ireland (excluding BFPO addresses).


Does Homebase.co.uk deliver overseas?

Unfortunately not. We deliver to mainland UK or Northern Ireland only (excluding BFPO addresses). Please see Home delivery information for more details.

Are my personal details secure?

Shopping on Homebase.co.uk is as safe as shopping in any store. Your bank card details will be encrypted to help keep them secure. Please note that we will never ask you for your full Username, Password or bank card details via emails or pop-ups, or for any purpose other than registering or placing an order on Homebase.co.uk.

We've always got special offers for you. With so many great deals, you could find that lots of products are cheaper than you thought! And to make things really clear, Homebase.co.uk always has the latest prices. Wherever you see a price on this website, you can be sure it's the latest one.


How can I pay for my items?

You can pay online with most major credit or debit cards, including MasterCard, Visa Credit Card, Visa Debit Card, Visa Electron, Maestro, Solo, American Express, Style or your Homebase Card. We don't accept Corporate Link cards at the moment. Please note that we will never ask you for your full Username, Password or bank card details via emails or pop-ups, or for any purpose other than registering or placing an order on Homebase.co.uk.

What should I do if my credit or debit card was refused when I placed my order?

If your card was refused, resubmit your order using a different card. For details on why your card was refused, please contact your card issuer.


Can I collect Nectar points when I shop at Homebase.co.uk?

Yes, if you give us your Nectar card number when you order. Points collected will be added to your Nectar account within 28 days. See nectar.com for full details.


Can I spend my Nectar points online?
