Simply swipe your Nectar card in-store and you’ll collect 2 points per £1 spent in any Homebase store; online and by telephone, up to the value of £500 (1,000 points) per transaction.

What is Nectar?
Nectar is a fantastic loyalty programme that allows you to collect points on your everyday shopping. You can then spend your points on a wide range of treats – so the more points you collect the better your treat will be!

When can I start collecting points in Homebase?
Straight away! You can collect Nectar points now in-store; online at Homebase.co.uk and by telephone

How many Nectar points will I collect?
You will collect 2 points per £1 spent in any Homebase store; online at homebase.co.uk and by telephone, on spend up to the value of £500 (1,000 points) per transaction.

I don’t have a Nectar card, how do I get one?
You can join online at www.nectar.com or pick up a registration pack with a Nectar card attached in any of our UK Homebase stores.

If I forget to swipe my Nectar card in store can I still collect my points?
Yes you can. Simply take your receipt and your Nectar card to any UK Homebase store within 14 days of the purchase and your points will be added to your account. This does not apply to transactions made online.

Can I spend my Nectar points at Homebase?
To begin spending your Nectar points you must ensure you’ve registered your Nectar card either online at nectar.com or through sending the completed registration form back to Nectar. Once you’ve done this and you have a minimum of 2,000 Nectar points on your account, you can begin to spend your points at Homebase. Please note: There is a minimum spend of 2,000 points per transaction at Homebase. Points can’t be spent when shopping online at Homebase.co.uk or when ordering by telephone.

I don’t have enough points to spend on my purchase?
You can top up any purchase with cash or credit card so long as you have a minimum of 2,000 Nectar points to spend.

What will happen to my Spend & Save Points, can I transfer them to Nectar?
You cannot transfer points to Nectar. However, any Spend & Save points of the total value of £1 or above will be sent to you in a final Homebase statement in July 2009.

I have a Homebase card; will I still collect Spend & Save points?
You will be unable to collect Spend & Save points on your Homebase card, however you can use your Nectar card to collect Nectar points on your purchases.

Is the Nectar programme going to operate in Eire as well as the UK?
No, Nectar does not currently operate in Eire.

I have a Spend & Save reward voucher to use in Homebase, can I still spend it?
Of course. As long as it’s still valid, you can redeem it at any Homebase store. The expiry date is printed on the front of your voucher.

Can I still exchange my Spend & Save reward vouchers for AIRMILES?
Regrettably, from 10th May 2009 you will no longer be able to exchange your Spend & Save reward vouchers for AIRMILES. For information on your AIRMILES account and any AIRMILES previously collected please refer to the AIRMILES Terms & Conditions at www.airmiles.co.uk

1. Coupons allowing you to collect bonus points should be presented with your Nectar card when making a qualifying purchase. Where all conditions are met, bonus points will be added to your Nectar account within 28 days.
2. A coupon is valid for all qualifying instore purchases, not for purchases made online or by telephone.
3. Points cannot be collected when purchasing gift vouchers, items with a Trade Card, items from concession stores within Homebase or when hiring items from the Hire Station.
4. A coupon cannot be exchanged for cash and or used with any other offer, promotion or coupon.
5. An offer of bonus points is not transferable. Points are only awarded to the original recipient.
6. Coupon can only be used once and only original, undamaged coupons will be accepted.   Photocopies of coupons are not accepted.

Spend & Save - Eire stores only

The Spend & Save scheme closes on Sunday 31st January 2010. Any reward vouchers that you’re owed will be sent to you in your final statement.

What will happen to my Spend & Save points?

Any Spend & Save reward vouchers that you are owed at the time the scheme closes will be sent to you in your final statement.

How long can I collect Spend & Save points for?
The Spend & Save scheme finishes on the 31st January 2010, so after this date you will not be able to collect any more points. I have a Spend & Save reward voucher, will I be able to use it after the scheme has closed on the 31st January 2010? Of course, as long as it’s still valid, you can redeem it in your local Homebase store. The expiry date is printed on the front of your voucher.
