Mixed salad



For the salad:

  • A mix of salad leaves (in season)
  • A selection of peppers (seeded and sliced)
  • 12 small tomatoes (halved)
  • 1 red onion (peeled and sliced)

For the French dressing:

  • 2 tbsp of raspberry vinegar
  • 6 tbsp of hazelnut oil (dressing)
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper


For the salad:

1. Use a selection of young salad leaves, including little gem, rocket, lambs tongue, watercress, baby spinach.

2. Place in large bowl and mix in peppers, onions and tomatoes.

For the French dressing:

1. Whisk all the ingredients together and drizzle over the salad.
