How to make painted pumpkins

No need to puncture your pumpkins to put in a candle for an eerie glow, simply follow the steps and you'll soon have glow in the dark pumpkins to spook your guests.

Step 1:

Firstly cover your table with plenty of newspaper or a dust sheet

Step 2:

Then paint your pumpkin with blackboard paint and allow to dry

Step 3:

Give your pumpkin a second coat if necessary

Step 4:

Decorate your pumpkin using chalks, paints, or even glow in the dark paint for extra spook-appeal

Top tip:

  • If you are using glow in the dark spray paint always get an adult to help and use in a well-ventilated area
