Replacement product care provides protection for everyday electrical, battery, petrol and gas powered products, costing between £9.99 and £250.

3 reasons to take out replacement product care:
  1. You can relax after your manufacturer's warranty has ended with up to 3 years protection against repairs & replacements.
  2. You could either receive a replacement or a Homebase voucher so you can buy a new one.
  3. Immediate protection against damage caused by accidents.

Taking out care is easy at your nearest Homebase store

You can take out care up to 45 days from purchasing your product, provided your item has not been damaged. So if you've purchased your product on-line you can still take out Replacement product care. Just visit your local store with your order confirmation. A full refund is available if you change your mind within 45 days and have not used the service.

Using the service is easy

If your item breaks or is damaged by accident, take it to a store along with your receipt(s) and a completed replacement form from the back of the in-store leaflet.

What's not included?

Some exclusions and restrictions apply.

These include faults or damage caused by:

  • Commercial or non-domestic use
  • Not following the manufacturer's instructions
  • Deliberate damage
  • Damage of a cosmetic nature such as scratching or chipping which does not prevent the item from working is also excluded
  • Theft
