Homebase is proud to have chosen Macmillan Cancer Support as their Charity of the Year 2015-2017

World's biggest coffee morning

All the money raised in the first year of our partnership will fund vital hours of care from Macmillan nurses, helping people living with cancer and their families receive essential medical, practical and emotional support, so that they don’t have to face cancer alone. So far, with the support of our customers, Homebase has funded 7,964 Macmillan nursing hours since March 2015. 

Homebase stores will be supporting this partnership by holding a World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for Macmillan in stores at the end of September so why not drop in and visit your local branch? You can also hold your own Coffee Morning by visiting 

Charmaine, Macmillan breast cancer nurse specialist

"I love my job because I know I make a difference"

Charmaine Case has been a Macmillan Breast Cancer Nurse Specialist for 14 years. Charmaine gives patients a wide range of support.

She says her main role is making sure that patients have the information they need to make informed decisions about their treatment and cancer journey.

Kate's Story
When Kate was diagnosed with cervical cancer, she had a million and one questions. Thankfully her Macmillan nurse Vikki was there to answer them. And she was still there for Kate throughout her treatment, even when she was told her cancer was incurable. Now Kate’s trying to enjoy the time left with her family. In fact, she says she’s happier than ever – and that’s got a lot to do with Vikki.
