Have used this product for quite a few years now and it still performs well.
I have a peppledash wall which is past it`s sell by date but a can of this gives good protection from wet conditions.
You can tell how effective it is by checking the splashes on your hands afterwards because if you are as messy as me then it`s a bit like peeling off latex gloves !

I bought this primer to paint on an outside wall which was flaky & crumbling. It worked like a dream there, but I also used it on a bathroom ceiling which had developed a lot of black mould which was causing both the paint finish and some of the plaster to flake off. After cleaning off the mould & scraping any loose areas I coated the ceiling & although the product dries almost clear, it had really consolidated the surface & I was then able to paint it with an anti condensation paint. I inadvertantly got a few drops on some of the white tiles & it dries like a plastic film so that perhaps explains why it works so well.

Easy to apply/see due to bright colour which dries alot lighter than it looks in the tin so don't be put off by the bright blue.

Easy to apply, and provides a good base for masonry paint on newly rendered walls.
Would recommend it to anyone wishing to use masonry paint.
