got this work bench for my partner. he attempted to set it up but was sent with the wrong legs, which means having to return. apart from what looks like a packing
error, the product looks quite good.

Rated 1 out of 5 by shelly poor quality I guess thats why its the value range
I know its a value range work bench but I expected a little better than what we received. I bought this for my dad and he couldn't even put it up. it wouldnt unfold an when it did it bent and buckled an parts a were missing. i dont like leaving bad feedback but unfortunately I have had to return this work bench to my local store.

I know you get what you pay for but this is exceptional.
The bench is made from light weight flimsy pressed steel which bends while trying to align the holes. Once assembled the whole thing is not level or straight despite various attempts to align it. Then you think you have cracked it and try to fold the thing up. No chance, the closest I got the legs were nearly 16 inches apart. Not folded, more not upright. The instructions are completely useless and vary depending on what picture you look at. Turning the platform around makes no difference. All this before you even start to use it.
Wasted 1 1/2 hrs of my life and will be returning it for a refund.
The wife stayed well clear for the whole of the time and was not best pleased either.
I am a qualified motor technician and rate this product in the negatives and I am very surprised it is on the shelves.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Ant Cook Goemetry is all wrong in 2014 !
I bought one from Farnham, put it together and it didn't collapse...then exchanged it in Guildford and same problem. The geometry is wrong on the batches in the shops at the moment (Jan 2014). Either the fixed brace is too long, or the mount points are in the wrong position on the adjustable base(or legs). When assembled the worktop isn't level (rear is lower than front) and when you attempt to collapse it, it won't go flat..the legs remain about 10 inches apart...

Its made from flimsy metal, holes are in the wrong place, bolts are loose and are impossible to tighten, it is not even level and the wood top wobbles and is very unstable.
The instructions are truly truly shocking and the photo/images do not reflect how it should be constructed and just confuse further.
I suppose you get what you pay for, but this is not even fit for purpose. If it can't do the job it surely shouldn't be in the shop!
Does not even deserve 1 star, but no option for a lower rating than that! It went straight back to Homebase for a refund. Getting my money back was the only good thing about this poor excuse for a workbench.
Don't be fooled by the price and avoid at all costs.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Rob Pratically good - challenging set-up
Being someone who doesn't do a lot of DIY, I felt that a ''value'' workbench would be ideal.
Once set-up, it has served it's purpose for what i needed it for. In light of some of the previous product feedback, it is what it is...a cheap workbench, but practically I have used it with no issues.
The only issue i had was with the set-up. Being a novice to DIY, another part of the thinking around my purchase was that a ''value'' product would be quick and easy to set-up; as the more expensive ones are likely to have additional parts or technology. However, the instructions were not clear at all and found it difficult to put together due to holes not being aligned properly.

This was needed to finish a job off this evening, put together was lop sided and double checked is not in picture, so totally useless and wasted time and fuel.....even worse will have to take back at own cost 32 miles!!!!.......its about time when things are not fit for purpose that the supplier covers travel and time costs, like their staff get paid for selling the product Had the thing been fit for purpose I am sure it would have done the job with no problem.
