Traditional Logs is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 55.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wet wet wer The wood I bought was very wet and mouldy. I could not use it in my wood burning stove as it would not light. Very disappointed and not what I expected from products sold at Homebase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Varied quality I have bought these logs for my small wood burner for the last year. However in the last couple of months there is often at least two logs per bag which are too big to fit. In addition they do not appear to be stored in a dry area as if I try to burn them within a month of being in the house they do not burn properly, just smoke and never appear truly lit! There is nowhere else that I know of that produces logs small enough for my burner :(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Waste of Money Bought these as had run out of own supply on a 3 for 2 deal. Complete waste of money, would have been better off burning £20 notes. Damp logs, logs barely smouldered, certainly no flame or heat. Rubbish product. Not as described. AVOID

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolute Rubbish Bought these in an emergency as we had run out. They were sopping wet all the way through and I sincerely doubt they were seasoned at all. We had to use coal to keep the heat up otherwise they just put the fire out and I dread to think what it was doing to the chimney. A lump of breeze block would have burned better. Do not buy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wet Wet Wet! Seasoned hardwood logs, soaked right thru, not even good for chopping up for kindling. Seems to be an ongoing problem with retailers storing wood outside this year. Will pay for a full load next time from a proper firewood supplier, but needed this ( albeit useless ) to get thru the week.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from These are not 'seasoned' logs! I've bought a couple of bags of these logs on several occasions when my usual supply has run low from 2 different Homebase stores. I thought I was unfortunate to pick a bad bunch initially but it''s gone beyond that now. They are a decent size but they are extremely wet, hiss noisily as a result and mostly produce smoke rather than flames, which is a waste of heat energy. I have to mix coal with them to get the temperature high enough for them to burn completely. I realise that most people buying a lot of logs would avoid these at this price anyway but Homebase should sell a product which is true to the label. Even if these are last years wood (doubtful) they haven't been stored correctly and are a waste of money. Avoid!
