With bathroom extractor fans costing 2 to 3 times the price of this basic no frills model, I thought, a bargain! So I gave it a try. It is smaller than the one it replaces. Some new holes were needed to screw it to the bathroom celling (my celling needs painting, so I can paint over the old holes). I soon had the fan attached to the celling and running. It's quiet enough in operation. It has no timer, so is only on when the lights are, but I am happy with it. I would buy the same product again.

I have used a couple of these over time and they are decent-quality, basic-spec units. I did not need a timer or switch cord and, as they are for use round the back of a pipe organ, did not need a spangly stainless-steel finish.
Easy to wire up using the enclosed instructions. Only thing that I needed to check was whether the live / neutral feeds should go to specific terminals. The instructions indicated so (so I followed them), but it might be good to have this stamped on the unit.
