Solid Wood Oak 3 Strip Flooring - 1 sq m is rated 2.7 out of 5 by 69.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not do the job properly We bought this product when it was 15% off and it seemed like a good deal at the time for real solid wood flooring BUT this product did not deliver at all !! The thickness (12mm) and overall oak finish was fine but the size of the wood varied soo much between packs. We bought from the same batch to avoid any colour differences but the width of each plank was different making it hard to lay, therefore the width of each plank had to be measured to ensure a straight / even line could be laid even though the pack mentions it is supposed to be 15cm wide. This doubled the time needed to lay the floor and left behind several planks of wood which were the wrong width and had to be wasted! Just thought everyone should know this before parting with your cash!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install Wasn't sure about laying the floor myself, but found it very easy to install and overall very good value for money for a better quality product than laminated flooring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good service Bought an additional 7 packets of this floor to match to some we had bought over five years ago (same product code) - matches well and fits well. Was constantly updated about delivery - great service.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK Fitted together as expected (not all bits are exactly the same size) Is a bit thinner than my other solid oak floors, but will do the job and the manager gave me a good deal

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value and quality Having layed many laminate floors for my home, my daughters homes and my French property I am no longer a "beginner"! This time the flooring was solid oak at an amazing knock-down price and was a delight to lay. I used a good quality underlay (green fibreboard) and some flooring glue I'd had stored away for almost two years. Fortunately I also have a good sliding mitre saw. The end result is fabulous (my bedroom) and well worth the effort. There was almost no waste - I needed 13.5 square metres, bought 14 packs and ended up with three boards left over! Looks fabulous.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbish! The boards are not perfectly square and do not fit together nicely at all. PLUS some had chips out or splinters on the edges adding to impression of a very cheap and nasty offering. This stuff is simply not very good -- even at a discounted price. I bought it when discounted and on a 15% day-now it's nearly 3 times the price, for which you can get much better solid wood floor options.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from AS EXPECTED looks great down , but does scratch easily , so beware !

Rated 1 out of 5 by from ask yourself why it's cheap! i have just laid this stuff for a customer in a bedroom, seriously this is the worst product i have ever seen! the planks are not square,no matter what you do,it's impossible not to have any gaps between planks, even strapping the wood together whilst the glue dries will not work, being solid wood you cannot maniplulate it.if your happy to see you gaps in most of the joints, buy it,if not don't.a poorly machined product.a cheap laminate will give you a better finish! also you won't need a pulling bar and tapping block, because the tounge and groove joints are far to loose, your hands will do the job! i've been laying floors for 28 years,i wish diy stores would not sell flooring that is not fit for purpose
