Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible After 5 coats, this still fails to repel and protect against water. Also took more than 24hours to absorb each coat! Terrible, and a waste of money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Worktop Oil on the market.. I’ve tried several worktop oils and this one is by far the best. Althought it sn’t the cheapest you get what you pay for. Althought it says to wipe it off with kitchen rolls after a couple of hours, I find that the longer you can leave it on, the better – maybe overnight if possible. The next day you won’t need to wipe it down, it will have been fully absorbed – making the job last longer. It seems such a shame to waste all that oil by wiping half of it off before it’s sunk in!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As expected I recently purchase a butchers block topped flooting kitchen island for additional work space. The top of which was untreated wood so I purchased the Sadolin worktop oil from homebase. The oil is really easy to apply with no fuss or mess and has turned the wood in to a now usable worktop. I would recommend this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Limited use Although I have found Sadolin exterior products good, Work Top Oil has failed me. Applied to a medium tone oak kitchen table after having removed all polish with meths, the applications of SWTO darkened the colour badly. Also did not polish up in areas where there had be small leakages of mosquito repellent, which is why I decided to treat the table in the first place. These area show up as if they had never been given any oil at all. Three coats later and allowing several days drying in between, useless. I have wasted my money and time with this product. Now I have to sand dowm the table to retore the lighter colour!
