These are the first item to go from the bird table and attract a wide variety of birds. The clip close box is very useful as mealworms smell a bit fishy, and the lid successfully prevents the odour escaping when stored in the house.

Rated 4 out of 5 by monty Good quality but expensive
My reason for only giving 4 stars is the price which I did feel was a bit expensive. Unfortunately i thought I had picked up a cheaper brand but when I got to the till I realised that these had been put in the wrong place on the shelf so I paid for them and the birds are very grateful. It is the first time I have bought mealworms so I can not compare them to any other brand, all I can say is that the birds especially the blackbirds and thrush love them and come back time and time again for them.
Nice container but the lid is very stiff and I have had to put the whole thing in a bag and seal it as I just can not get the lid on and off easily.

These dried mealworms are very clean to handle. We have several types of food out but these are the absolute favourite! Until we put these out we had never seen any jays in our garden but now they turn up regularly. Other birds love them and I have even watched wasps lifting full worms from the feeder tray.
