Striking crab apple, in spring a rich velvety wine-red blossom, then glorious glossy deep purple foliage in summer. Slow-growing, ideal for a smaller garden. This crab is self fertile and will produce fruit without the need for another crab apple to pollinate it. Will also pollinate apples flowering at the same time.
  • Additional information: This plant has been grafted onto an MM111 root stock.

  • Feeding instructions: Feed in spring with a mulch of well rotted manure and fertiliser. Recommended for fruit and flowers.
  • Flowering period: This tree will provide fruit and flowers for many years. Masses of small fruits in late summer early autumn.
  • Planting instructions: Plant trees from January through to April. Place roots in lukewarm water for a few hours prior to planting to help hydration.
