I used this product on floors, skirting boards and doors three years ago when renovating my house, it is easy to apply goes a long way, looked really great when finished and still looks just as good now three years on.

Apply this product without overlapping brush strokes, apply the product in exactly the right amounts, do not over brush at all, apply to full board lengths without a break in the stroke. Do not brush it until it becomes thin and clear, it must remain wet. Your wood must be equally porous all over. If all that fails you obviously have poor brush technique. Or your wood is very porous. Failure to comply with any of the above results in a floor that more resembles a patchwork quilt than a natural pine finish.
A call to Ronseal's tech support was initially not only unhelpful; they were prepared for my call with standard answers ( see above), they will talk all over you, becoming increasingly rude, when you ask to speak to the manager they will deny you this right; refuse to give their name and hang up. When I did call back and the same tech person denied hanging up and allowed me to speak to her manager, who was more helpful. The manager asked more about what I was applying the wax to, how I had used it and on what; then told me what I had been doing wrong. (See above). Apparently this is a very common type of call for Ronseal. Does just what it says on the tin? Yes providing you don't do any of the above.
