Great, easy to apply product but available from other sources for a lot, lot less!

This oil does not dry like other work top oils that are based on natural oils that cross link to produce a natural varnish like finish. The oil rubs off onto cloths, cooking equipment etc. The protection is very limited and requires renewing on heavy traffic areas on a monthly basis rather than once or twice a year.

made a surprising difference to our wooden worktop. Stays clean longer - stops stains. Must remember to top it up on a regular basis.
Wish we had bought it sooner!

Really easy to apply, distributes evenly! It does darken the wood, but finish looks very nice.

Rated 1 out of 5 by sutherland A very poor product
We have had oak worktops for some time and always used Rustins Danish Oil, which worked well and product a fine protective sheen after building up many coats. Having made some adjustments to the worktops we sanded back to the bare wood and decided to try this product. It is, however, basically useless. We have now put on seven thin coats, but this stuff simply does not soak into the wood. Not even trying different methods like leaving it to soak for longer on drier patches make it soak in. It is as if once you have put on one coat, no further coats can penetrate, yet the irony is that even after seven coats it cannot cope with a wet tin or a wet cup without leaving an instant mark.
I am now giving up on this product and returning to trusty old Danish Oil.

Rated 4 out of 5 by John Better than other oils
I'd been using other worktop oils for several weeks, but I found that the Ronseal oil formed a better coating, needing fewer coats to complete the job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tilly Corny I know but it does what it says on the tin!
Easy to apply oil which gives excellent coverage. Lasts a reasonable time too. Around water splash areas it still only needs reapplying every four months or so. And it's reassuring to have the antibacterial content.
