While my use of the angle moulding might not be for everyone it did the job in my house. In my bathroom my window frame unfortunately is rotten in one corner due to its not being sealed properly. Now we are eventually going to have all of our windows done, so it just did not make sense to replace this one by itself so I thought that I would try to "repair" it. Realizing quickly however that simply cutting out the bad bit and replacing it with new wood would be at best a temporary solution, I decided to protect the wood with the angle moulding. This not only allowed me the ability to create a waterproof seal, but once I caulked the edges ensured that no water would seep underneath and attack the new wood I had placed there. It has definitely done the job and surprisingly does not look too bad at all - it will definitely give me another 6months to a year of usage which is really all that I could ask for!

Top little bit of kit.
Very cheap, easy to fit. Perfect for smartening up corners. As mentioned above, can give it a light sanding and paint it.

If you have not read my review of Crown Mellow Sage Green Silk Emulsion, then you will not appreciate my views about these highly informative product purchase reviews.
To be more concise I purchased a number of these lengths of white plastic to finish off some renovations to my kitchen. I used them to cover the holes left from removing a door. I put another length on the other side of the doorway to cover the hole for the latch. I used a very strong glue in a mastic tube to stick the plastic in place once it was cut to the correct length and then painted over with the white paint for the wood to finish off. This was a far quicker and more cost affective solution to replacing the door frame and architrave and much neater than using a wood filler to cover the holes.
In conclusion, this item is long and white, easy to cut and if you look carefully enough in the store, you may find some other widths to choose from. I believe you may even find some other colours, but if you give the surface of the plastic a quick rub over with a fine sandpaper and clean off, you can paint over it in any colour to match or even contrast your furnishings.
