I bought this product after comparing prices of other similar products on sale the price was the best and did the same job. I had never used this product before and it was very easy to use. I painted on with a paintbrush and used kitchen roll to wipe off excess then wiped again later and let dry which was pretty quick in my opinion. I was doing a kitchen work top surface and the best bet for me was to do a bit at a time and used very much, when I did the next section there were no overlapping marks. Excellent product did the job.

I bought this product to help protect a wooden greenhouse and was very satisfied with the results,it was half the price of Danish Oil and although it is slightly harder to apply than Danish Oil I was still able to use a brush to apply it. The main reason it is half the price of Danish Oil is because it takes a lot longer to dry, however as long as you realize this and your still after a cost effective wood nourisher then I highly recommend this product. If you are unsure if you need the boiled Linseed Oil as opposed to the non boiled version I would recommend the boiled product as this will be easier to apply and was the same price at the time of this review.
Please remmember to adhere to the safety advice, on the back of this product because under certain conditions linseed oil can cause fires.

The product was fit for purpose. Perfect for treating wooden tools and axe shafts after use.
Unlike stains and varnishes linseed oil will not cause blisters to occur if your hands sweat while using your tool.

This is a storecupboard item. Keeps garden furniture in good condition and weather at bay and is the easiest to apply and environmentally sound cleaning applicators (and hands) with hot soapy water. Also good to seals external tile pathways and unpainted external doors.
If you want to extend the life of a product whilst keeping it looking its best for little outlay and negligent inconvenience this is the product for you.

I purchased the Boiled Linseed Oil to help preserve and add some depth to a 40 year old wooden carving of a crocodile. The linseed oil lived up to its name and finished off the look just great. I will continue to apply the oil every year to ensure the carving is protected and looking its best.
