All together I've used 4 or 5 tubs of this plaster. It's not cheap but as it allows a relative amateur like myself to easily do a professor job the cost is not an issue.
I would recommend it to any avid DIYer for filling large gaps or holes and/or achieving a hard flat finish.
Being light it stays where it's put, even on ceilings.

This is a fantastic product. I have used it on two major refurbs as a filler for cracks and small areas of missing plaster. It is very quick drying and extremely easy to rub down leaving a very smooth finish. It does not seem to crack or shrink after application and is still perfect months later. Buy it

Easy to use and sands down well. It would be better if it was white and not grey.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ethkit Grey stuff ~ not white
On opening the pot, I discovered this was not the white stuff I had bought before. It is grey and gritty. I know now that I should have bought Polycell Deep Fill which is white and smooth. However, it filled and replaced some blown plaster and bonded extremely well to the wall and to the surrounding good plaster. It needed a skim as it was to gritty to paint onto whereas Deep Fill would have done the job in one go.

having had a couple large holes in my plastered walls i decided to buy this and give it a try. the plaster repair was really easy to apply and did not fall out the relativly large hole like other makes of reapir does. the finish on the walls was great after a light sanding.

this is a very good product, i used it to fill a deep hole in a solid interior wall. it took a few days to dry completely due to the depth of hole i filled and not having much heating on.

I used this product on a relatively small wall repair of about 2 ft square. I needed to remove the damaged plasterwork back to brickwork and use the product to effect a repair. Very easy to work with, remained workable and retained quality of finish off a float so I could ensure I got the final repair I was looking to achieve without working too quickly, which I find difficult with more traditional products. When dry, I was able to use some fine sandpaper to just tidy-up the surface ready for painting. Also, noteworthy was that there was no cracking when the product had dried. In my view this product is, much easier to work with for the non-professional compared to using conventional plaster type materials.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Shandy Small repair job
I am not a plasterer at all and the job I have just done is only a tidy up. I had a small repair job and having read about Plaster Repair from Polycell's own website this seemed to be just the stuff I needed.
I found the plaster application relatively easy although I would not want to tackle large areas with this for fear of comments from friends/family!
It is sufficient to repair small areas and the end result is good and you are supposed to apply a finishing coat which I did not do.
Having completed the task I felt confident with this product that I would purchase it again.
You will definitely find a plasterers trowel a bonus when using this product.
