The saw was so flexible if it got stuck it bowed and stayed bowed. You could form it back with two fingers of each hand.
Was not worth the petrol to take it back.
Mitre block ok.

I bought the set as I needed a tenon saw and mitre block for laying laminate and cutting the beading to go around the edge. The saw was banana shaped and flexed like no tenon saw I've ever used and the box virtually disintegrated within seconds. I'll be taking it back. Impossible to use and delayed me getting the job done.

If you are using 127mm coving, this mitre box is not deep enough to get the right angles. It also a nightmare to start the cut.
Please purchase the higher yellow mitre box as homebase will not inform you that the box will not do the job....The saw is ok but a bit short also purchase a cheap longer fine saw as will do the job easier.
Homebase maybe put yellow mitre boxes with the coving section so novices know.

I was looking for things to help me lay a laminate floor and thought I would try this for cutting the edging bits.
It worked brilliantly and the edging is practically perfect and fits really well in all the corners.
I will be laying more laminate flooring in our hall soon and I will definitely be using this saw and mitre box to cut the angles on the edging.
Overall, I thought it was a brilliant impulse buy and definitely worth the money.

Good value for money, you will need to attach the mitre box to something for a good cut.

The sides aren't tall enough to lay the coving against to ensure a correct 45 degree angle, The saw is also too short and the grooves are too wide to ensure a correct clean cut and leave wiggle room to cut into the plastic, all in all a very bad buy when using for coving.
