Rated 5 out of 5 by from Paint Pads Positively Peerless I have been using the paint pads to decorate my home for over twenty years now. There cover better than brushes and are easier to use and clean. They are the do-it-yourself's secret weapon. Try one today.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value product Gave a good even finish and took less paint than I thought. The extra pieces made this pack good value for money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Use less paint, time and energy! Thought I'd try the paint pad set to paint my ceiling (5mx3.5m) as I wasn't looking forward to doing it again with a roller; all that neck straining and arm ache. It was great using the paint pad, much less laborious and didn't use as much paint as I thought I'd need. I managed to do 2 coats in one afternoon! The pad did come away a couple of times to start with but soon realised I hadn't slotted it all in properly and no problems after. Easy to clean - especially compared to a roller. Used a brush to do cutting-in on the corners but I'm going to get the corner pad when do the walls. For me, it was definitely well worth the money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A curious 5-piece Perhaps we are not very clever. One of the five pieces seems to have no practical use whatsoever. This is the piece where you would attach a pole into the short tube. How does the pad attach to this piece? They may as well have included a toilet brush handle. The other four parts were of good quality though, as others have pointed out, the attachment of the pad is a little crude. Over embossed wallpapers and rough textures, pads are really hard work and not to be recommended. Paint makers clearly give them a poor press; most emulsions tell you to apply by brush or roller. Over smooth surfaces, pads work well and very little paint is spilt, wasted or splattered over your face. Almost no use for dustsheets. Therefore it's a good value investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Paint pad Just love this product. So much easier to use than a brush and so much less messy than a roller. No negatives. The pad did come away from the holder but that was because I ahdn't put it in correctly.
