Part 2 Cistern Float Valve - Brass is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved my bacon With water pouring out of the overflow from the cistern, you need to be able to replace a float valve easily. This float valve was fitted in 5 mins and with the easy attached float ball the overflow was quickly stopped.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works well This cistern float valve may be more expensive than other shops but the quality shows. It's much quieter than the one it replaced - less hissing sounds heard in the bathroom now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from one problem It's well made, functions well and continues to function well over many years. I know this because the previous one, which was exactly the same, did. However, the weak point is the plastic nozzle which discharges the water into the tank. This goes upwards, along, and then down, presumably to conform to current anti-syphonage regulations. This means that it projects above the main brass assembly and is easily damaged, as it was in my case by the cistern lid when I moved it. If this part were not plastic but brass like the rest, this would not happen.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from mostly good The product is of good quality & was quite easy to fit. But the white plastic spout that the water comes through is very flimsy & moves about. As a result of the movment it sprays water out of the lid & soaks the flour. I have it tied into place with a cable tie & this seems to have sorted it out .
