This really is artificial grass of a very high quality. It has a deep pile like a luxurious carpet and looks realistic. Perhaps most important of all, as I have a 6 year old son, is that the grass is super soft, he tumbles down a slide at breakneck speed backwards to a lovely soft landing!
Another important thing and I must admit I took a gamble with this is that the drainage is very good, better than real grass but I do live in a clay soil area. We have been able to walk around barefoot usually the day after heavy rain this summer, although I wouldn't expect that in other seasons.
I laid the grass myself with some help with lifting it into place, its very heavy. I put a layer of sand onto existing soil plus weed membrane provided and results are good. Not completely level but still ok, just like a 'real' garden. Service from Nomow was very professional and actually they will provide the grass in larger chunks if you require it to save you joining so many pieces, which suited me because I struggled with the joining tape and glue and instead ended up hammering down more pins to hold the grass down. Overall I would highly recommend this.

Looks good, although not a big area 6 sq mt. Not quite like the sample I saw in the shop, so was a little bit disappointed as it is quite expensive, but not enough to make a fuss

Rated 5 out of 5 by overthehill Fantastic and excellent looking 'grass'
We went to see many different artificial grass products in a variety of places, before deciding on Nomow and Homebase. We felt it was the 'more natural looking' of all of them. after waiting several weeks contact was made and was delivered probably by the same van driver mentioned in another review. He gave lots of helpful tips and hints. Definitely need a good base, well compacted down, we used a roller which helped. The weed surpressant went down easy enough, nice sharp sissors a must. Be careful when laying the 'grass' if you view mainly from a certain point in your garden there is a grain/nap direction and in certain directions it can look flatter even after final brush, also take care when trimming. It is time consuming especially as we cut round lots of log rolls for a better finish but it was worth it. My only criticism are the nails/anchors which are bright silver and covering them is a bit of a pain. Maybe Nomow could make them green plastic coated ones or caps for the heads?

I never thought I would be the person that went for the artificial grass! I have always been a keen gardener and just didnt see it as part of my wavelength however after moving house last May to a much smaller property, it quickly became apparent that the grass just would not grow! I decided I had no choice, and artificial I went!
The product itself is so realistic, never seen a product like it, nothing like these astro turfs I was expecting to find!
The customer service was great and the product was deliverd undamaged and on time! Also easy to lay! I admit I had abit of help with the heavy lifting from my husband but apart from that I was a proud lone ranger, and a good job I did too!
I would highly reccommend this grass, we have chucked the lawn mower (it was knackered anyway!!) and with the money we saved invested in some lovely deck chairs and a bottle of champers to celebrate our beautiful new garden!

The product arrived on time and well packaged. Brought to the door by the delivery driver; it was larger than expected, but not too heavy.
Laying the underlay was a breeze
The product appeared difficult to cut, but was no problem with a good pair of sharp scissors.
Laying the turf itself was a simple task, but a nervous process. I thoroughly recommend cutting a good 5 cm larger than measure just in case. The old addage "Measure twice, cut once" applies here.
Fixing the turf as instructed required a good hammer; make sure you have one before starting.
I was slightly concerned early on as the amount of 'grass' that came off in the area that was cut was quite large, however once vacuumed was not a problem.
I did not lay the sand as directed, so the area of lawn is not as flat as it could be, and some wrinkling has occured. There area is not flat anyway, so could not do this but am happy with the result.
