I purchased this product according to recommendation of a professional carpenter. It was not very easy to remove old paint from an exterior door using this product but unfortunately there are not many other options and I had to be very determined and patient to do the job. I had worked out how much Nitromors would be needed for stripping my door based on the information on the tin and bought a 750ml tin, but it was not effective as it says and I needed to buy one more tin later. Also the shape of the tin makes it difficult to use the whole contents - you cannot use until the last drop in the container and you may need to use an old tooth brush or small brush to recover the content as much as possible but some can be still wasted. The difficulty and messy feature of chemical stiripping of paint have been well documented but this one may still be one of the reputative brand and it works eventually if you take time and effort.

I bought the remover to remove old varnish/lacquer/paint from an antique pew. It was quite hopeless and I had to use a whole tin to remove a fraction of the pew. I had to leave it on for hours, re-apply and use a lot of elbow grease. Like with all new chemicals, they are not as strong as they used to be. I had more joy with a very old tin I found in the garage. I am sure the remover works on new paint, but I wished I had the pew dipped by a professional, it would have been a lot cheaper.
