Generally very happy with this arbour. Its very sturdy and I intend leaving it in place over the winter months.
The material for the side roller blinds and the roof panels are grey textaline mesh and see through so don't really give much privacy - if this is what you want. You will need 2 people to put this item together.
If you're planning on having it next to side hinged patio doors, remember that if you want the roof panels open then allow another 6 inches. We cannot open our patio doors with the roof panels open as theres not sufficient clearance.
Overall, impressed but the weight and durability of this item and don't feel it will blow away in the winds.
One improvement I will be doing and thats to drill a small hole in the metal pole which weights down the roller blind so I can securely tie the blind to the upright - the fixing supplied is fabric with velcro, these came undone in a windy shower of rain.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Il Duderino Stylish addition to your garden
Initial impressions are good, though some disappointing factors. The colour of the blinds and fins differed, dark grey rather than the cream as in the pictures. Not a problem for us as it turns out this is more suitable for our garden. It is available through the website only - would've been useful to see one in store prior to purchase.
The fins and the blinds provide little sun shade - don't expect the same level say, as a parasol. In this respect, being able to move the fins doesn't make a lot of difference.
Was delivered in two heavy boxes as advised. Unfortunately, the quality of the packing is not great and I discovered scuff marks only after unpacking - no way at that point to re-pack and return for replacement.
Instructions are clear enough, but I would strongly advise using your own decent spanners, rather than the sub-standard toy ones provided.
The instructions suggest that you dismantle for inclement seasons - not realistic unless you have a lot of time to spend and a lot of space to store it.
All that said, it does look great and is a chic feature to have in your garden.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TimW Excellent modern Arbour
Although the pictures and data on this item are very limited online, we took the chance and bought this to place on a raised piece of decking in our garden to produce the image of an exterior room. We were blown away by the effect it has produced!
The metalwork is a darkish grey and so are the roof and side panels, we were not expecting this based on the images on the website but it looks really good. Very clean lines and hence modern, which is what we were trying to achieve.
My only grumbles were that I had to tap one hole as it had no thread, One of the holes in the joining rods for the roof panels was not large enough and had to be drilled out to the correct size for the bolt and we were missing one washer. Not bad really.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Missdebj Ideally need three people at least to build
The arbour comes in two packages, both of which are heavy. My daughter and I couldn't move the larger one at all (50+kg), meaning we had to leave it where the delivery guys had put it until we could build it. Of course, it rained and the box got soaked, including the instructions inside. We dried them out on a clothes horse, so it was quite quick to use them once dry. Bonus - there were two sets of instructions.
It was relatively easy to put together - the pictures were reasonably good, with expanded views of fiddly bits. There is a good parts list which includes a ruler to measure screws. We struggled with attaching the winding mechanism - three attempts to get it in the right place as that was not a clearly described, or drawn, step.
Only one of the screw holes was not a good fit and we had to use one of our own screws. Otherwise, all the fittings were present and good.
If we had had three or four people to build it, it would have been better. As it was, I felt there was unnecessary strain put on the horizontal pieces before we could fasten them to the second set of uprights.
We built it roughly in the place where it was going to be, but had to wait for help to turn it through 90 degrees to make best use of the roller-blind style sides.
It does come with two tent-peg fasteners per upright to help anchor it to the ground, which is ok if you are having it on grass. However, it does seem quite sturdy.
You are advised to keep hold of the instructions so you can dismantle it when not in use. HAH! It took a lot of effort to build and I shan't be dismantling it any time soon, not even in the winter. The roof sections and blinds are mesh, so not waterproof in any way.

Easy to put together and well made. Have bolted it to decking over hot tub. Not made clear that this is only a temporary structure. Have removed one side panel as next to house, easily done.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Geoff H Quality product
Goods arrived with all pieces correct and more than enough fixings, instructions easy to follow, most stages instructions advice two people but I managed it mostly on my own, the unit went together without a single hitch, my only concern is it doesn't act as a sun shade when roof closed, it filters the sun a bit but not enough for us so we aim to add some material to it, other than that the product looks great and works perfectly filtering side draughts making breezy days easy to sit outside in, glad we bought it and would recommend to others

Looks great over my hot tube, you can either be protected from the sun with roof closed and sides down, or have sun on you, with roof open and sides up.
