Mercia Shiplap Sentry Box is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible customer service, poor quality product First thing first, the delivery was a nightmare. I had the delivery man on the phone for half an hour trying to explain the concept of a one way street. He still failed to deliver and I had to book another day off work to stay in for delivery. Their delivery envelope by the way is from 7am to 7pm. In this day and age is that really acceptable? Anyway the shed arrives, and it has a fair few scratches and dings. Not surprising as it's not at all packaged. The instructions are basic but unhelpful at times, putting things you should do last in the middle for some reason. The wood is poor quality and frequently splinters when are you using the screws. To be fair, the instructions tell you to drill separate holes to prevent splintering.. So I've got to drill 50 separate holes in this shed before I even get to start building it? Another highlight from the instructions is to try and keep the shed out of the rain... Yeah thanks. What, keep the shed in the kitchen shall I? The shed is unevenly stained so you're going to have to paint it anyway. They don't tell you that either. There are a few other small things, like the locking mechanism being too low down, and the method of tacking the tar roof being awkward but hopefully this should should be enough to convince you not to buy it.
