This is a big solid barbecue, about 1 hour to assemble single handed. Instructions minimal as usual, but not too difficult to work it out.
From reviews elsewhere I already knew this is not a proper smoker barbecue as the air gaps between lid and base are too big to retain the smoke or to ensure a stable temperature.
As it was in the half price sale at £97 I bought it to use as a straight forward grille, and then occasionally fill the fire box with chips to get a smokey supplement to a fast grille (like chicken quarters).
I have read forums where they adapt this model using stove tape to seal it better and get it to work. Far quicker and easier to get a Weber Smokey Mountain and get it right first time.
Very happy with this BBQ, looks very different from the generic gas hob, just don't excpect it to be a proper functioning smoke.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Matt Not for low and slow cooking
This can be best described as a grill with a firebox attached to the side.
There is a 10mm gap around three sides of the smoking chamber making temperate control next to impossible so low and slow cooking will be challenging at best.
Most cheaper offset smokers will need some level of modification to really work to their full potential, but this design makes sealing the unit impossible without significant changes.
For my expectation of this being a "smoker" I am very disappointed.

Great BBQ but be prepared to drill your own holes as the ones pressed for you do not line up and some are sealed, but by the time realise you are over half way through putting it up and can't be bothered to undo it all to return to shop. Once up it looks great just be calm and have drill, screwdriver and a spare pair of hands available.
