The soaker hose was just as expected - you connect it to the house, roll it out, and water drips out of it everywhere. Just make sure the water pressure isn't too high, or jets of water will squirt out, potentially leading to a split hose!

I bought this product for keeping my veggies watered whilst taking a short break. Put on a timer and left to drip/soak twice a day the beds were kept watered and the plants thrived without the TLC I in person could provide. I had bumper crop of beans and on the way to a heavy weight couple of pumpkins!

Having arranged the soaker hoses to encompass our entire garden, we went on holiday fairly confident that regardless of the weather, our garden would be protected. We returned to find our garden in full bloom, a mass of colour, better than we ever expected.

This hose is an absolute winner. Easy to cut down to size and install - it provides a really effective way of watering a flower bed, or in my case, a new hedge. Combine with a water computer and you have a very cost effective and efficient method for regular watering. Highly recommended

This hose successfully evenly watered my veg patch during the dry spell in the summer of 2010. It is important not to set the pressure too high from the tap, otherwise there is a risk of bursting the hose. Alternatively, use a supply from a water butt. A minor improvement would to supply a stopper for the far end of the hose - I had to use a cork. Otherwise water pointlessly comes out of the end.
