I bought this timercare to do my fence panels and shed, I managed to do 11 6x5 panels and the 6x8 shed with still some left over to do another 3 panels, well worth buying. dried a bit darker when applied.

Rated 4 out of 5 by cheapskate homebase timbercare.
Bought several 9 litre tubs of Homebase timbercare for sheds and fences. Good price in comparison to other branded products. I found that two coats are needed for the fences but maybe this is because it was on untreated wood.

i have used the Timbercare product for the last 5 years and find it to be extremely good value and quality.
It is simple to use and the coverage is great, makes the fence look new each time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Kavas A bit dissapointing
Good value but you get what you pay for. What was dissapointing was the colour. Not anything like light oak, more like orange. Paint was a bit thin as well. Will go for a pricier product next time.

If you buy this product expecting light oak you'll be disappointed!
If you want a bright orange, then that's great as that is exactly what you'll get.
Would not recommend at all and would suggest Homebase remove from their scope of supply

I decided to give my fence a new look using Timbercare light oak to cover Dark oak...I new it would take a number of coates to get the right look but after four coats I'm wishing that I had never started.....The light oak is like water with only the mearest hint of light oak colour...I think it would take at least another four coats just to get a hint of what I was hoping to get.....Could it be that I have a faulty batch ?
