Well it works, just about. It's not rubbish but it doesn't really do a 'great' job of keeping paint from where it shouldn't go. The problem is that you need about 3 or 4 hands/arms to get it working properly. It's too easy to ease up on the pressure without knowing it and then the paint gets behind the shield....

I was looking for something to avoing taping up a 12 pane glass door before painting - well this worked a treat, just hold it up against the edge of the glass and paint, you have to be a bit carefull when moving it away, but much better than masking tape. And you can clean it and use it over again.

Disappointed with product, used a metal one years ago but got lost in our house move, so thought I would try this one. Found it hard to hold, and paint still seeped through.

My grandad had a shaped aluminium paint guard that I had once but can't find now. As the house was being redecorated I wanted something similar to prevent paint getting where it shouldn't (the skirting etc.) and this does the trick nicely. it's pretty simple but does the job and you can just wash any excess paint off. The radiator pipe guard (for standard 9mm not microbore) will be useful if you paint your pipes.
