this brush was brilliant to use for first coat, but 6 hours later to apply second coat, bristles all over the paint work. To sum up - a one time use product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LRWT - Soton Homebase 3" Paint Brush
I don't like paint rollers because of the splatter and the cleaning.
The brush was purchased solely for the purpose of being able to get a paint brush into a 1 litre pot of emulsion.
It did, initially, have a tendency to leave bristles behind but seems to have stopped doing this.
Does the job !

I was expecting that I would have been lifting bristles off the wall but I was surprised to discover I was wrong.
Would use again.

Although this range claims to be high performance we found that the brushes shed hairs a lot so I spent a lot of time picking hairs off the wall. Disappointing.

As a Pensioner, I look for value in anything I buy. The paint department had some good value paint brushes. I though at first they looked a bit hard, but on use I found, the 3 inch one was just right and left a lovely finish.

I used this brush to apply stain block to the kitchen ceiling. The brush was not up to the job and is now heavily worn. It also has too many wedges in it which doesn't enable fine work where you need an edge (eg between the wall the the ceiling).
