Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product & colour We bought this as a one wall contrast to silver mist in our spare bedroom. This colour contrasts beautiful with the lighter colour. We chose the tough paint which my husband said was easy to use but very thick. In hindsight , as we used it in a spare bedroom, the standard Matt paint would probably have been ok but the colour is great, certainly for a darker wall. 21 August 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor Covering This paint took 3 layers to cover the previous (& not dissimilar) colour. I expected better. 14 November 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not too keen I've been painting/DIY for many years and noticed such a poor difference in this painting experience I just had to leave a review. Firstly Homebase, your own brand paint tins are quite tricky to get into, I know they are of the non-drip type but these come across as being designed to stop volcanic larva dripping lol, and you do lose a bit of paint in the gap around the edge once poured that you have to scoop out with a brush and put back in the can. The coverage of this paint seemed quite stiff and thick, almost like those "One Coat" paints and I even contemplated thinning it down, but as it was two small walls I was painting I just carried on, and almost used two thirds of the paint, so I'm thinking doing a whole room would take 2.5 tins maybe. I think this may be due to it being a "Duracoat" paint and to be honest I'm not sure I would use the brand again unless it was an emergency job. Certainly not in a living room or anywhere that is pride of place and on display 26 November 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by gorgeous colour Used this paint in my sons room and was very pleased with the end result. The colour has a very modern look and finishes off the monochrome look perfectly.Used it over a white base and it needed at least two coats as goes on patchy to start - persevere though and you will be happy with the outcome. 05 September 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by great colour This is in my kitchen, the matt colour contrast is great against the gloss white kitchen units and stainless steel items, very pleased but would have been more pleased if I found this in silk finish too. 13 July 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by great colour this was the perfect colour for my teenage sons bedroom. 10 May 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Proper Grey! I wanted dark grey to go with black for 19 year old son's room and, after many testers, found Urbanite. It's proper grey, not blue-grey as many are. We painted three walls Urbanite and one Black and it looks great. My son loves it, a happy teenager - Recommended! 04 April 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Gorgeous colour! Love this paint. We were struggling to find the 'perfect' grey paint for a feature wall in our bedroom. We really liked Urban Obsession by Dulux but felt it was just too dark and similarly Light Rain but it was too light. We took a gamble on Urbanite having seen it in the Homebase magazine and we couldn't have chosen a better paint or been more pleased. It definitely requires two coats to get a good finish (but this is obviously not unusual). We even had some left over and decided to use it in another room. With all this in mind, the paint is superb value and I would highly recommend! 01 February 2012
