Heavyweight Curtain Track - 3m is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for bay windows I bought this track as it said it was suitable for bay windows. I followed the fitting instructions but the track wouldn't bend and ended up kinking instead so the hooks didn't glide around and got stuck. I read the instructions several times because people had said you needed to heat up the track to bend it but there was no advice on this in the instructions and although it suggested the fixings to be placed at 35cm distance from a 90 degree corner or 15cm from any other angle corner (I did the latter), this clearly wasn't correct. Went on to do a bit more research and bought a flexible track for a third of the price - easy peasy. I wouldn't recommend this item if you want to fit it to a bay window.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent quality I was looking for a firm plastic curtain rail which would be reasonably easy to assemble. This Homebase product was ideal. The gliders slide easily and the rail holds my largish curtains well. I did have a friend to help me with this task.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works fine They aren't the most sturdy curtain tracks in the world, but they work and I haven't had any problems fitting them to the ceiling of my bay window. If you are fixing them direct into the ceiling, the angle to clip the track onto the bracket is too tight to be able to follow the instructions exactly. Rather than use a batten, I fixed the rawlplugs into the ceiling, clipped the brackets into the frame and screwed the whole thing into the rawlplugs, and this seems to have worked fine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not bend AT ALL The rail is in two parts with a tiny connector that's supposed to join them. The slightest tension when curving made it snap so completely pointless for bay windows. Description says its supposed to go to a 90 degree angle, but no chance of it bending at all. Ok for straight curtains.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Longest non-cord track This is the longest non-corded track I could find in any of the usual High Street DIY shops. Homebase is never cheap but this is the best value for money if you want a curtain track for a wide window. Other shops do longer ones but they have a draw cord making them much more expensive. Buy it on a discount weekend for even better value. Takes a heavy curtain and thermal lining without difficulty.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't do the job is was supposed to! Although the track may be of decent quality, t did not bend round the bay window as it should. It simply kinked and is unuseable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing Pulling the curtains the runners do not glide along the track, very jerky and rough. I would not recommend them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well designed curtain track Turned out to be an easier job than I expected.Because I was fitting to a large bay window it was not possible to find a long enough single rail so the design which incorporates a central join was just what I was looking for.
