Rated 3 out of 5 by from Depends on use Paint goes on fairly fast using this roller but I used it on a concrete garage floor and the adhesion of the paint to the concrete was not as good as when I used a brush. The brush gets into all the little crevices that the roller won't touch. The roller would be very good if used on a very smooth surface. The application is much faster than when using a brush.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A bit difficult Being short and having one stepladder between two people I decided to buy a roller with an extendable pole. The painting started off well with the roller spreading paint excellently on the walls, however after some time the roller would need to be washed more than I anticipated because it would take less and less paint from the tray. The roller head also kept slipping off it's holder and would have to be pushed back in place. As for the pole - it had good, comfortable grip and extended to a decent length, enough to reach the ceilings but it would not stay 'locked' in place half the time which was very frustrating. I'd find I was painting and then the pole extension would slip and unlock. Then halfway through the overall painting job, the opposite started happening, the pole would be hard to unlock - it would get 'stuck' and take a bit of force to open. Overall, this roller is decent and will do the job, but it seems best for small jobs and only a few, as I don't believe it would last long. That or it would become too frustrating.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed My daughter went away with school for 5 days and i took 3 days off work to redecorate her room while she was away as a surprise. I bought this long handled roller to do the ceiling but only used it for part of the job as it left lumps of orange fluff all over the ceiling. I wasted lots of time picking and wiping the bits off the ceiling and had to buy a replacement roller to finish the job. I washed it thoroughly and dried it then tried it on the Walls two days later and still the same thing. I wouldn't recommend this roller to anyone.
