ok, granted we were doing some heavy tile shifting but the blade chipped at the corner and moved almost immediately. We go the job done but not as easy as it shoould have been with this tool.

The strong handle gives you a bit extra when it comes to stripping wallpaper - much easier than a standard scraper.
When the blade starts to blunt it is excellent for removing artex and coving, plus the glue.
Just as easy to use one handed - a real surprise but make sure you buy some spare blades.

This thing saved hours of back breaking and soul destroying wallpaper and polystyrene ceiling tile removal, only wish i had one sooner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Harris Excellent product!
The orange (mine was black) rubber handle grip came loose quite quickly, but was sill useable.
Overall, top class product, the RAZOR sharp blade made stripping wallpaper a breeze, without even needing a steamer (just damp walls with soapy water + sponge, DON'T bother with wallpaper stripper liquid, it's useless).
This will not strip parts of the wall which are uneven, so if you have uneven walls, buy the smaller stripper.

Have used cheaper versions which were very good .This has a wider blade and a longer stem making the job in hand effortless. Superb tool to have.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Renovation heaven Does what it says on the tin!
Very handy tool when you've got a lot of stripping to do - 2 sides to the blade, one blunter, one sharper and with closer contact to the wall. Easily reached up to the ceiling without needing to stand on anything (I'm 5'8").Used this extensively on our renovation project, both to strip wallpaper and paint/glue under the wallpaper layers. It worked well for the most part, but the blade did occasionally become loose and fall out of the tool - not a major problem, but fixing could have been tighter.
