This roller didn't roll. It fitted onto the handle but there was limited movement and didn't actually roll the whole way around.

Despite these being a better brand, I was really dissapointed as the fibres kept coming off on the walls. I tried the second roller and it did the exact same thing.

As I needed to paint behind radiators this product proved to be a little to large for the job. I managed to purchase slightly smaller rollers from a different source. Although these were not advertised for use with emulsion paint they did the job quite adequately.

I bought these, as I had bought Harris products before, the No-Loss brushes for instance. BUT I found the rollers, from which I naturally expected the same quality, did nothing but shed pile for the first 2 hours and I spent as much time picking out fluff from the painted walls as painting. That said once the shedding had finished there was still enough pile on the rollers to do a decent job.
Have bought other brands and cheaper brands and had less problems. Moral - you do not always get what you pay for. And before you ask - no I did not take them back the cost of doing so in time and inconvenience did not justify it - which is a problem I suspect we have most of us experienced from time to time.

I found this product extremely good. Although it is soft and hairy I had no problems with these rollers and they left no hairs or bits in the paintwork.

These are great. I always use these by Harris. They give a good finish and do not leave fluff behind like some of the others around..... The size is good for those little awkward jobs.
Tip....I always give them a wash first in tepid soapy water. Rinse well and dry before use....just in case there is a loose fluffy bit!

Harris Rollers, They roll on paint same as any other. But they stayed in one piece no bit stuck in on my my newly painted white doors, great finish. Paid a bit more for then but worth it
