Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Little Heater Does exactly as it says on the box, a great little heater that happily keeps the temperature well above freezing in my 12x10 greenhouse (it got so hot one night the heat vent opened!). Burns quite clean and uses fuel at an economical rate, the only little gripe I could have is that the wicks seem to burn down quickly (not the end of the world as they are cheap and easily available). However having said that I would recommend this heater to anyone who has some lovely plants they need keeping cosy during the long winter months. 14 November 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Fails to impress Had hoped to fight the ongoing wintry chill in the greenhouse - sadly, this device appeared merely to lots of smoke and little warmth. 10 April 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by This product doesn't work Carefully put the heater together correctly, based on the very sparse instructions. Ensured that there was enough oxygen in the greenhouse to feed the flame. Filled the bottom of the heater with the correct fuel. After numerous attempts to keep the heater alight, I've come to the conclusion that it is impossible. The heater will not remain alight for more than one and a half hours. Tried all kinds of remedies with the wick. Nothing works. Complete waste of money. Do not buy this heater! 09 May 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Had to leave 1 * as 0 * is not an option After a few uses the heater goes horribly wrong. I found the wick holders are only folded tubes and when hot they give a flame down the sides. This leads to heavy, and I mean HEAVY sooting. The tubes should have been sealed at manufacture, but cost is a factor. If you fancy hosing the inside of yr greenhouse down with a carwash brush (Soap required) to clean the glass down afterwards then buy one by all means. This also means throwing away any plants you had growing because they have been poisoned. No matter how much ventilation you give this heater it WILL fail after a while. My tip is STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT. 19 April 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Value for money Being a pensioner, I wanted a cheap and efficient form of heating for my greenhouse. This heater has proved to be excellent value for money as it is easy to use and is very economical to run. It has proved to be a very efficient way to keep the greenhouse above freezing on the coldest of nights, protecting the plants that are overwintering there. I was also delighted to find that Homebase also sell the paraffin to fill it with. I would certainly recommend it to anyone. 04 February 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Hot plants This is the first time we have heated a greenhouse in the winter so not very experienced. The heater is easy to light and refill, is robust and appears to be doing a good job. It is costing more to run than I expected, though. 03 February 2011
