Great quality, easy to use. The flat "ribbon-like" cord sits neatly in a groove or ridge which runs down the length of the pole. The cutter is operated by pulling downwards on a central grip, which pulls the cord. There are only minimum angles and edges and no loose cord - which minimises risk of the cutting mechanism getting caught on other branches.
Our old pruner always got in a tangle and the cord caught on other branches which was hard to work free and extract ...especially at 4 m high - and made an awkward job infuriating and very tiring on the arms!
Expensive but worth it for the smooth, hassle-free mechanical operation.

Easy to use and very efficient. No loose strings to get tangled. No problems when fully extended.

The moveable head allows one to cut branches at odd angles neatly from the position you want to stand in.
The product is well made, though it is not very robust. Cutting branches at the limits of the jaws capacity can break the cord which cannot be replaced.
So either be careful or expect to take advantage of the guarantee.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tricia Excellent product and light enough for me to use
We needed a cutter that would cut quite thick branches mainly from a neighbours overhanging tree and this is perfect for that job, easy to use with quite brilliant results, it quickly did the job and we ended up tidying some of our own branches that had been difficult to get to - overall a very good purchase

A very useful tool for pruning out of reach branches. Will handle medium size stems - very sharp. Saves using a ladder.
