No matter what type of trees you have, or how thick their branches are, you can be sure we have a lopper to help keep them properly pruned. More powerful than pruners and more accurate than saws, loppers are ideal for cutting larger branches. Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent I am pleased with Fiskars lobbers

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong, well built, scarily sharp I saw a review of these which complained that the extensions closed or opened while being used. This is the case if the adjusters at the end are not turned into the locked position properly. They are very sharp. I used these on thick ivy and found that, if I used them like tongs to pick up pieces of wood, they simply cut straight through and I dropped the wood. For this reason it's good that the handles are long so you don't lose a finger. The long arms give leverage which means that there is little effort in cutting through thick growth. They reach the areas other secateurs can't reach.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from superb! These loppers are very lightweight and are easy to use especially when working at heights or above you. The cutting blade is very sharp and hopefully its stays that way for some time to come. The extendable arms are easy to use and very rigid once extended. All in all, a good buy and a good product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from very poor Worked quite well for a couple of hours on a difficult hedge but from the start the handles would not lock in the extended position and kept slipping, and eventually one handle came out altogether and little bits of plastic flew everywhere. As a tool for tackling a high pyracantha hedge sit would have been perfect and it was very disappointing that it did not work as claimed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Not realy a robust product. My task was to lop some branches up 1 inch diameter. Within 1 hour the lopper had broken at the point where the lever arm connected with the cutting section. Returned the product and received a replacement. The same thing happened again. This time I took a refund and bought a different product elsewhere. This was not a good purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BROKE! Good as long as they lasted (a coupled of years - long enough to be beyond warranty) but handle bent then broke, under severe pressure, mark you - but I should have thought the handle should be designed ot be unbreakable by human power.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lopping Tackled some tough branches. Bit of a bend on one leg such that it doesn't quite slide shut, but pleased overall.
