You always know when you buy Farrow & Ball paint that you are getting a quality item, and this did not let me down. It looks great, and I know it will last. Literally does what it says on the tin!!

Whilst not recommending that anyone gives this a body swerve you should approach your purchase with eyes open. This paint is different from other modern mainstream emulsions. It's thinner for a start, so you will definitely need at least two coats. Whilst it gives a nice finish when it's done I'm not sure it's any better than say Crown or Dulux and these alternatives are certainly cheaper !

This is my 3rd outing with a Farrow and Ball paint and the shade is the best yet. Painted a south facing study in it and it looks absolutely lovely, a real sunny shade of cream. Chose the Modern Emulsion variety as I have lots of pets and it really is a pleasure to paint with such a creamy textured paint that has no strong odour. The coverage isn't brilliant I have to say, it certainly needed 2 coats over a very pale pink, and probably a 3rd would have been better but I didn't want to buy another tin as it is quite pricey. Maybe in the future I will paint a first coat with something cheaper and do coats 2 and 3 with F&B. Would also prefer a plastic tin as replacing the lid is alot easier! All in all, I would really recommend this gorgeous colour, in fact I am contemplating using it in other rooms now.

With the services of a great plasterer, who created the smoothest possible surface and ironed out blemishes, and also of a superb housepainter, who mastered the unusual flow properties of this paint, we now have walls which satisfy our desires for light, warmth and sheen in appearance. Expensive, but well worth it.
